Environmentally Friendly

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint wherever possible. We have implemented a range of measures to make our property energy-efficient, water conserving, and encourage recycling whenever possible. Solar powered blinds drape the large east-facing window wall to keep the house cool on hot summer days. Two city water tanks house over 2000 gallons of water allowing for great drinking water and discourage single-use plastic water bottles. We provide Public Goods products whenever possible! Public Goods is a company dedicated to sourcing 100% recycled, post-consumer plastic bottles and tree-free paper.  We are also committed to improving the Great Lakes.  1% of each reservation is donated to Alliance for the Great Lakes, a not for profit organization dedication to preserving the Great Lakes.
